Reading Your Rental Contract

A full walkthrough of a standard Polish tenancy agreement. Participants work with real contract examples, identifying clauses that affect their rights and obligations. We cover rent definitions, deposit rules, notice periods, maintenance responsibilities, the handover protocol, and what to do before signing.

Module 2 – Rights
Know Your Rights as a Tenant

A focused session on the legal protections available to renters under Polish law. Covers the key provisions of the Ustawa o ochronie praw lokatorów, what landlords are legally required to do, how to document problems, how to communicate formally, and what options exist when rights are not respected.

Module 3 – Landlords
Renting Out Responsibly

Designed for property owners who rent out or plan to rent out residential accommodation. Covers the legal obligations that apply to landlords, how to draft a contract that is clear and enforceable, deposit rules, how to handle non-payment situations through proper channels, and the legal process for ending a tenancy. Tax reporting obligations are also covered.

Navigating the Rental Market Safely

Includes a section on what to check during a property viewing.
